It's hard to believe that we are already beginning to think about heading back to school. It feels like school just got out, and that summer has barely begun. Still some schools in our area go back in the first weeks of August, and HISD returns on August 25th. But don't worry, there are still plenty of fun activities remaining for the summer, and even a few educaitonal opportunities. Here are a few:

1. The Fish Gallery has story time every Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30pm. You'll get the opportunity to feed the fish, do crafts and win prizes.

2. Houston Shakespeare Festival is coming up. There are free performances at Miller Outdoor Theater throughout August.

3. The Houston Children's Museum is having their Summer of Epric Adventure with great fun activities all summer, including free family nights on Thursdays.

4.  If you're trying to get the kids or family outside, the Buffalo Bayou Partnership has a wide selection of activities from boating to disc golf.So get out there and enjoy some of the activities that Houston has to offer for your family with the rest of your summer!
